The US used six B-2 bombers to launch a dozen “bunkers” bombs in the nuclear facility of Fordow in Iran, an American authority said at CNN.
Navy submarines fired 30 Tlam cruise missiles against two other places, Natanz and Isfahan, and a B2 released two “bunker destructive bombs” in Natanz, the authority said.
The details of the attacks were previously reported by The New York Times.
The GBU-57A/B Pump Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), known as “Bunker Destroyer”, is a 13,660 kg pump with 2,760 kg of explosives.
The Mop is designed to “reach and destroy the mass destruction weapons of our opponents located in well -protected facilities,” according to an US Air Force informative leaflet.
