American attack happened after more than a week of the climb of the conflict between Israel and Iran
The night of June 21 was marked by an unprecedented action: the attack of the AO. The president authorized the military base to bombard three Iranian nuclear facilities. In a publication on the Truth Social network, Trump stated that the attacks hit the nuclear complexes of Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. “A total load of pumps was launched on the main target, Fordow,” he wrote. The president also stated that the planes involved in the operation have already left the Iranian airspace and return safely to the United States. “Now is time for peace,” signaling that he considers the mission closed and indicating that he wants to avoid a greater climbing of the conflict.
The US attack came after more than a week of the climb of the conflict between Israel and Iran. Israelis want Iranians to stop the military program to talk about defending their country’s safety, however, they have no wire to destroy nuclear bases, the only holders of a capable Aram, are the United States. And it was exactly with B-2 steals, which took place from the Whiteman Air Base in Missouri, that the attacks were performed.
B-2 are the only aircraft capable of launching GBU-57, 13.6-ton antibunker pump designed to destroy underground targets, such as the Fordow installation, located under a mountain and considered one of the most protected in the Iranian nuclear program. With the attack, the US formally integrates Israel’s military campaign against Iran, which began a week ago with the stated goal of preventing the Persian country’s ability to develop nuclear weapons. On Saturday night, President Donald Trump made a statement about the attack and said that “there will be peace or tragedy in Iran.” Check out Trump’s full statement below.
Follow your statements:
“The United States army recently launched massive accuracy attacks against three important Iranian nuclear facilities: Ford, Natanz and Isfahan.”
“We all heard these names for years as they built this terribly destructive enterprise.”
“Our goal was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and stop the nuclear threat represented by the main sponsor of terrorism in the world.”
“Tonight I can report to the world that the attacks were a spectacular military success.”
“Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities were completely and completely destroyed.”
“Iran, the Middle East tyrant, now needs to make peace. If not, future attacks will be much larger and much easier.”
“For 40 years, Iran said, ‘Death to America, death to Israel!’
“They killed our fellow citizens, exploding their arms and legs with bombs by the road. That was their specialty; we lost more than 1,000 people.”
“Hundreds of thousands throughout the Middle East and around the world died as a direct result of their hatred; in particular, many were killed by their general, Qasem Soleimani” (a high commander of the revolutionary guard, killed in a US attack in 2020 during Trump’s first term).
“I decided for a long time that it would not allow this to happen. It won’t continue.”
“I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We worked as a team as no other team worked before, and we have made great advances in eradicating this terrible threat to Israel.”
“I want to thank the Israeli army for the wonderful work they did.”
“And, most importantly, I want to congratulate the great American patriots who have fired those magnificent machines tonight and the entire United States army for an operation like the world has not seen many decades ago. I hope we no longer need their services with this level of intensity.
“I also want to congratulate the head of the joint state-state, General Dan Caine, a spectacular general, and all the brilliant military minds involved in this attack.”
“That said, this cannot continue. There will be peace, or there will be a tragedy for Iran much larger than we have witnessed in the last eight days.”
“Remember, there are still many targets. Tonight was the hardest of all, from afar, and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace doesn’t come soon, we will chase these other targets with accuracy, speed and skill. Most of them can be eliminated in a matter of minutes.”
“No army in the world could have done what we did tonight, or close to it. There was never an army capable of what happened just.”
“Tomorrow, General Caine and Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, will give a news conference at 8am (9am in Brasilia) in the Pentagon.”
“And I want to thank everyone, and in particular to God. I mean, we love you, God, and love our great military; protect them.”
“May God bless the Middle East, may God bless Israel and God bless America. Thank you very much. Thank you.”
