Police in the Prešov region accused two men of a crime of dangerous threats. Jana Ligdayová, spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Prešov, informed TASR, both men ended up in a police detention cell.
On Friday (20 June) shortly after lunch, there was disagreement between a 27-year-old man and a woman. “The man took a chainsaw, started it, and headed for a woman saying that he would cut her,” The spokeswoman said. The woman fled to a family house for fear of the man. The case is addressed by the District Department of the Police Force in Levoča.
On Saturday (21. 6.) An evening of a 25-year-old man from the village near Spišská Bela under the influence of alcohol threatened to his sister, brother, girlfriend and father, whom he physically attacked. He threatened to check and kill everyone. The relatives hid from him in the rooms and called the police.
