The Australian Prime Minister claims that the world is trying to prevent a nuclear weapon and supports the steps to prevent it. The Minister calls for diplomacy and deeskation.

Australia said on Monday that it supports the United States attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong called for de -escalation and return to diplomatic solution to this conflict. TASR reports this based on the DPA and Reuters report.

“The world has long agreed that Iran cannot be allowed to get a nuclear weapon, and we support the steps to prevent it,” Albanese told journalists in Canberra on Monday.

He stressed that there is “clear information” that Tehran had an enriched uranium up to 60 percent. According to Albanese, “there is no other explanation to reach 60 percent than involving a program that is not focused on civilian nuclear energy”.

They ask for deeskation

Minister Wong also expressed support for the US in connection with the attack on Iran and called for a return to a diplomatic solution. “We support steps that prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon,” she told Nine. “We know what the UN nuclear supervisory authority has confirmed … And that is that Iran enriches Uranus almost to a military level, which is enough to produce several nuclear weapons,” the minister continued, calling for “de -escalation and diplomacy”.

On Friday, Australia closed her Embassy in Tehran after an interview with Wong with American diplomacy chief Marc Rubi. In Iran, according to Reuters, there are almost 3,000 Australians and about 1300 is trying to leave the country. The agency added that Australia sent two aircraft to the Middle East to help evacuate civilians.

The US has been attacking Iranian nuclear devices on Sunday night. They participated in the conflict of Tehran with Israel, which launched its operations against Iran 13 June with the declared aim of preventing him from producing nuclear weapons. Iran constantly denies such an intention. He responded to Israeli strikes by retaliatory attacks.
