On Sunday (29), he should also participate in an act with supporters on Paulista Avenue, in São Paulo. According to him on social networks, the event aims to “fight for justice and freedom”.

The former president also kept the trips scheduled for next week. On July 4, Bolsonaro should attend an event in Balneário Camboriú (SC). The next day (5), there is schedule scheduled in Florianópolis. Between July 9 and 11, he must comply in the state of Rondônia.

Bolsonaro gets sick and cancels schedule

The trips were maintained even after the former president was ill last Friday (20), which led him to cancel commitments he would fulfill in Goiás.

After feeling bad, Bolsonaro had to return to Brasilia, where, on Saturday (21), was hospitalized for a few hours at DF Star Hospital. He underwent laboratory and image tests.

The doctor Claudio Birolini, responsible for the accompaniment of the former president, reported that the exams detected a staff of viral pneumonia. Bolsonaro is undergoing antibiotic treatment and was told to reduce his appointment agenda during the recovery process.

HAS CNNPL President Valdemar Costa Neto and the party leader in the House, Deputy Sostenes Cavalcante (RJ), said the former president is recovering well and is still under home treatment.

Bolsonaro had been in Goiás since Thursday (19), when he participated in a ceremony in the City Hall of Aparecida de Goiânia. At the time, he received the title of Aparecidense citizen and, during the speech, revealed that he was not well.

“I’m 70 years old, recovering the energies here, but I will try to say something to you,” he said. In the midst of sobs and belching, he added, “Sorry, I’m very bad. Vomer ten times a day, maybe the 11th in a little while.”

According to the medical team, Bolsonaro also underwent adjustments in the medication for hiccup treatment.
