Ferrari has confirmed an unusual change to the Formula 1 Austria Grand Prix: Charles Leclerc will be replaced by young Dino Beganovic in the first free practicescheduled for next Friday (27/6).
The exchange is part of the Italian team’s strategy to give more experience to the Swedish pilotonly 21 years old, which is part of the Ferrari Driver Academy and currently competes in Formula 2.

Beganovic Not new to Ferrari’s car: He had already piloted in Leclerc’s place during a Bahrain test session earlier this season. Now he will have one more opportunity to show his potential behind the wheel of a F1 car in the traditional Spielberg circuit.
