Iranian minister goes to Russia to consult Putin after US attacks

O Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, ABBAS ARAGHCHIcame to Moscow This Sunday (22) to consult with the Russian President, Vladimir Putinafter US attacks on important nuclear facilities, Iranian semi -official news agency fars told.

Previously, the Russian Foreign Ministry said it “vehemently condemns” US attacks, calling them “irresponsible decision” that “violates international law,” although Moscow repeatedly violated international law in his ongoing war and no provocation in Ukraine.

“We ask for the end of aggression and redoubled efforts to create conditions for the return of the situation to a political and diplomatic course,” the ministry said, warning that US attacks mean “the beginning of a dangerous round of climbing”, which risks “further undermine” security in the region.

Russia and Iran signed a “comprehensive partnership agreement” in January, consolidating their close strategic alliance, although the deal does not require the two countries to defend each other if one is attacked.
