Russia is ready to help Iran in many ways, depending on what Tehran request, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Monday (23).
“It all depends on what Iran needs,” Peskov said, answering a question during a press conference. “We offer our mediation efforts. This is concrete.”
Peskov added that Russia has been openly declaring its position on the war between Iran and Israel in a gesture that classifies as an important form of support to Tehran.

The spokesman also noted that Iran has been a recurring issue in recent conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
“The theme of Iran itself was repeatedly discussed by the presidents during their recent conversations,” said Peskov.
