Even with one less player since the sixth minute of the first half, Real Madrid defeated Mexico’s Pachuca 3-1 on Sunday at the Club World Cup. It was troubled the end of the match at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, with charges of racial injury.
The game was marked by the execution of the Anti -Racism Protocol established by FIFA (International Football Federation). Already in the additions of the second half, Brazilian referee Ramon Abatti Abel crossed his arms in Xis, which is called by FIFA “No Racism Gesture”.
This occurred after a discussion between German defender Antonio Rüdiger of Real Madrid and Argentine defender Gustavo Cabral of Pachuca. Rüdiger was upset, saying he was offended by the opponent.
After a few moments, Ramon Abatti Abel decided to continue the match, which was already in its last moments. The ball rolled for just a few more seconds, with the confirmation of Real Madrid’s triumph.
With the result, the club reached four points in group H and took an important step towards the round of 16 of the competition, played in the United States. Pachuca, with two losses in two games, is mathematically eliminated.
Mexican formation lost a great chance, as it acted with one more player from the beginning. At six minutes, Asencio received a red card for grabbing striker Rondón, who arrived in the area, facing the goal.
With the numerical advantage on the field, Pachuca even pressured and creating scoring opportunities – hungry bumped into great goalkeeper Courtois – but Real Madrid was more efficient, took advantage of their chances and began to determine the pace of the match.
The Spanish club scored its first goal after 34 minutes, when Bellingham received from Güler and hit a good left foot kick. At 42, it was Güler’s turn to receive in the area and finish accurately. Güler himself, at 24 of the final stage, practically killed the game.

Protocol in case of racism
1) Step 1 – Stop the game
