Have you decided to start growing tomatoes in your garden? That’s great. If you now put some effort into taking care of their cuttings, at the turn of July and August you will be able to enjoy healthy fruits.

They will be much tastier than those purchased at the market. In order for the tomatoes to be naturally sweet and juicy, however, you need to provide them with the right conditions. Water them with a special mixture from my grandfather’s recipe, and they will be the best in the area.

Tomatoes need heat and a large amount of sun. It is better to remember this by choosing a position for them, otherwise they will not be sweet and tasty. It is best to put on one that will be shielded from the wind and guarantee them a minimum of 6-8 hours of access to sunlight during the day.

The soil for tomato cultivation must be fertile, permeable and rich in nutrients. Before planting shrubs, you can enrich it with compost or well -spread manure.

First of all, so that the bushes are not too thick, get rid of the lower leaves. And in the fruit ripening phase … Limit watering by up to half. This is not a joke, because it is often that they lose the clarity of taste. That is why after the harvest they seem diluted.

In order for tomatoes to be sweet, you can sprinkle them with wood ash. Works great. However, my grandfather used another home -made tomato fertilizerto save a little, and also provide them with the necessary nutrients in a natural way.

It’s about fertilizer from banana skins filled to the brim with potassium. It is this element that is responsible for the natural sweetness of fruit. To prepare it, cut the skin of two bananas into small pieces.

Pour them 1 liter of warm water and set aside in a dark place for about 40 hours. Later, pull out the skin and use the liquid for watering tomatoes after dilution with water in a 1: 1 ratio. Use every 2-3 weeks.
