Former President Jair Bolsonaro’s lawyer Celso Vilardi was optimistic after the license between Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, a collaborator in the process, and General Walter Braga Netto. According to the lawyer, the general repeated his testimony firmly and brought important details. “The employee is being demoralized due to his lies,” he said.
The lawyer said he also believed that the denunciation can become invalid and help former President Jair Bolsonaro.
Vilardi also considered positive the second procedure between Anderson Torres, former Justice Minister and Defendant, and General Freire Gomes, former army commander, witness to the action.
The two hearings of trading were led by Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), who investigates alleged attempted coup.
