Juliana crashed on Friday (20), while making a trail around the Rinjani volcano, one of Indonesia’s main sights. It fell, being located on Monday about 500 meters deep, using a drone. The Brazilian is trapped in a rocky cliff and is visually still.
Teams have been trying to rescue it three days ago, but the work has been interrupted twice by climate and ground problems. The last one, on the morning of this Monday.
According to information from the Monte Rinjani National Park, at 6:30 am (Brasília time), “two rescue teams were mobilized to reach the victim’s scene and check the second anchor point at a depth of about 350 meters. However, after observation, two major protrusions were found before reaching the victim, making it impossible to install anchor,” said the task force.
The teams evaluated the rescue with helicopter use, considering the critical period of 72 hours for rescues in wild areas.
