Netanyahu’s office states that the country has achieved all the objectives of the military offensive and adds that it will respond to “firmly” to violations of the truce
Israel confirmed on Tuesday (24.Jun.2025) that accepted a bilateral with Iran, but said it will “responder firmly”To any violations of the truce.
Said it in an official statement, quoted by the newspaper , which (Likud, right) attended a meeting with the Defense Minister, as well as the heads of the (Israeli Defense Forces) and the country’s intelligence service.
The meeting, according to the text, served to “inform that Israel has achieved all the objectives of Operation Lion Ascending [Rising Lion]and much more”.
According to the statement, “Israel got rid of a double existential threat: the nuclear program and the ballistic missiles”.
Netanyahu’s government said the FDIs managed to have “Total control over Tehran’s airspace, causing severe damage to the country’s military leadership, as well as destroying dozens of central targets from the Iranian government”.
The statement also announced the death of an important nuclear scientist and “hundreds of members of BASIJ, the regime’s repression apparatus”.
The Prime Minister’s Office thanked the US President (Republican Party) for his support in Israel’s defense and for participating in “elimination of the Iranian nuclear threat”.
The text then announced that “Faced with the fulfillment of the objectives of the operation, and in total coordination with President Trump, Israel agreed with the president’s proposal to a bilateral ceasefire ”.
Earlier, Trump had that the ceasefire agreement was in force.
The announcement of the US president was made shortly after at least 4 died by an Iranian ballistic missile launched against a residential building in Beersheba, the largest southern city of Israel.
