New explosions shake tehán again in full expectation for a high fire
The explosions felt again in Tehran, the Iranian capital, in the early hours of Tuesday in the middle of the expectation for the announcement of a high fire with Israel announced by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, on Monday afternoon.
Iranian media such as the Tasnim news agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, registered several outbreaks in the city while the news agency Mehrs reported that the Iranian Air Force had intercepted an Israeli drone that flew over the capital.
Hours before, the Israel Defense Forces (FDI) had issued an evacuation order for District 6 and 7 of Tehran, in addition to the Mehran area in the city, announcing that the Army would operate in those areas to “attack the military infrastructure of the Iranian regime”, in a message that has been repeated for days before Israel Lance new bombings.
The explosions stress a night already for Trump’s announcement of a high fire between Israel and Iran that, for now, neither party has officially confirmed.
“Congratulations to all! Israel and Iran have fully agreed that there will be a high total fire (in approximately six hours, when both countries have completed their final missions) for 12 hours, at which time the war will be considered to be over,” wrote the republican leader in his social network, Truth Social.
Israeli bombings on Iran, which began on June 13, have left around 450 deaths, among which 54 children and women are counted, and more than 3,000 injured, according to figures from the Iranian government.
The United States entered the confrontation during the early hours of Sunday, with a series of bombings against the three main Iranian nuclear centrals (Natanz, Isfahán and Fordo) and with the official objective of preventing Tehran to manufacture an atomic bomb.
Iran had promised retaliation for American involvement, baptized as operation Midnight Hammer (Midnight hammer), and that counterattack materialized on Monday, but came preceded by a notice that allowed the casualties to be avoided. (EFE)
