Μέση Ανατολή: Το Ιράν έπληξε αμερικανικές βάσεις σε Κατάρ και Ιράκ – Επεκτείνεται η σύγκρουση με το Ισραήλ

It launched it the missile operation “Niki ARMA”, signaling a new phase in the collision with. Gulf countries are in a state of high alarm, while increasing the risk of a generalized war in the region.

Iran’s missile attack: USA in targeting

In an unprecedented escalation of regional tension, Iran launched an attack with ballistic missiles against US military bases in Qatar and Iraq. The operation, named “Niki Angle”, was confirmed by the Iranian Tasnim agency, a few hours after a Western diplomat warned of a “credible threat” against the Al-Udeid air base in Doha.

The attack activated Qatar’s anti -aircraft defensive defenses, which, according to the country’s defense ministry, Katari denounced the attack as a “blatant violation of its sovereignty” and maintained the right to respond, citing international law.

At the same time, in Iraq, the US base of Ain al-ASAD was in a state of red alert, with security forces calling on staff and residents to flee to shelters. So far, no attacks on other bases have been reported, according to US military sources.

A source from the area revealed that Tehran had informed both Washington and Doha in advance of its intentions through diplomatic channels.

By Israeli raids to Iranian reply

The tensions that preceded the Iranian attack is rooted in the Israeli operation “Rising Lion”, with which Tel Aviv hit more than 100 strategic targets inside Iran – from nuclear facilities and military infrastructure, to high -ranking houses of the regime. The raids, according to Western estimates, destroyed about 40% of Iranian rocket launchers, weakening Tehran’s operational readiness.

In retaliation, Iran launched the operation “True Promise III”, launching hundreds of rockets against Israel – in some cases affecting and inhabited areas – causing losses and serious damage.

US involvement and the risk of regional ignition

US military involvement-with targeted attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities-has caused the Iranian missile response to the Al-Udeid base. Although the blow has not caused losses, the warning nature of the message from Tehran is clear: US involvement in the conflict will result in direct consequences.

The wider area reacted with concern. The United Arab Emirates has announced that they are prioritizing public security, while Bahrain has called on citizens to limit their movements and remain in safe places.

Energy, hormoz and asymmetric threats

Iran is a key factor in the world energy market, holding 10% of oil reserves and almost 18% of gas. The threat is causing alarm around the world, as there is almost one fifth of world oil.

Tehran also reinforces its asymmetric strategy through cyberattacks, electronic warfare and interference in maritime transport, attempting to push its opponents without a direct military clash.

The international community in a dilemma

The European Union has been limited to expressions of concern and truce prompts, without directly condemning Israeli attacks, sparking strong reactions to Tehran. At the same time, the likelihood of involvement of non -state actors, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and Houthi in Yemen, is increasing.

The United States withdraws unnecessary staff from embassies, strengthen military units and prepare for further deterioration of the situation.

To a regional war?

The Middle East enters an extremely fluid and dangerous phase. The direct targeting of US bases by Iran and the warning to allies and opponents show that the conflict has escaped the narrow bilateral limits of Israel -Iran.

Tehran maintains the ability to cause pressure by non -conventional means, while Israel continues to attempt to neutralize Iranian military infrastructure. In this environment, global stability is threatened, energy security is at risk and the risk of generalized war remains real.

The area walks on a tight rope. The next moves of the big players – especially the US and Iran – will determine whether the crisis is limited or turned into a slippery downhill to the conflict.
