Exhibition will be held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of victory over the Japanese; Putin will be present at the event
The Government of China announced on Tuesday (24.Jun.2025) that will hold a military parade on September 3 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Chinese victory against Japan in Sino-Japanese War 2 (1937-1945).
According to the Chinese state newspaper, China will present an arsenal of autonomous weapons – who do not need humans to work – intelligent, underwater and hypersonic in the parade, as well as more traditional weapons.
Chinese president Xi Jinping will give a speech during the ceremony, which will also be attended by Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Kremlin on a 4 -day official trip (August 31 to September 3). There is still no information on the participation of other global leaders.
An expert interviewed by Chinese newspaper said China’s most modern weapons and equipment should be the main focus of the event, particularly the new types of combat forces.
The parade is emblematic by the friction with the United States in relation to commercial tariffs and the escalation of military clashes between Iran and Israel, in which Americans are also involved.
“The new generation of traditional weapons and equipment, some new combat forces, such as unmanned intelligence, underwater war, network attack and defense and hypersonic war equipment, will also be presented at the parade, reflecting the strong Chinese military capacity to evolve according to advances in science and technology and overcome future wars.”wrote the Chinese newspaper.
