SHOPEE announced on Tuesday (24) the expansion of the delivery service in up to one day to Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, as well as a new partnership with Azul for deliveries on the route between São Paulo and Manaus. The announcements were made during a press conference in Sao Paulo.
The delivery service up to a day of, which has existed in São Paulo since September 2024, was expanded to understand purchases made in Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro.
In addition, the company also detailed its partnership with the Azul airline for deliveries on the route between Manaus and São Paulo (round trip), with the potential to “decrease the delivery time of up to 60%,” according to the company, who refused to open the average delivery time in the country or in the region.

The partnership will consist of use by Shopee do Espaço in aircraft that travel the route and not the charter of exclusive flights.
According to Felipe Piringer, the news should not compromise the profitability of the company and, in fact, represent the maturity of Shopee’s logistics capacity in Brazil.
