United States Vice President Jd Vance said he could ensure that the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program has already happened.
“A week ago, Iran was close to having a nuclear weaponry. Now Iran is unable to build a nuclear weapon. We destroyed the equipment they had,” Vance said in an interview with the channel Fox News This Monday. The interview was under the backdrop of the announcement of a ceasefire by US President Donald Trump between Israel and Iran.
“President is absolutely clear in the message that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” he said. “Our expectation is that they (Iran) do not try to rebuild this capacity,” said the vice president.
