The Amadora-Sintra Hospital ended the emergencies, this Wednesday afternoon, due to a Total breach of the computer system. The hospital said that health care to hospitalized users are assured.
The Professor Doctor Fernando Fonseca Hospital (HFF)-commonly designated as Amadora-Sintra-temporarily suspended all the activity at the emergency room because of a computer blackout.
The announcement was made in the late afternoon by the institution, in a statement.
In a statement, the hospital reported that users should contact the SNS24 line to find alternatives and ensures that “Health care for hospitalized users are assured”.
“ULS Amadora/Sintra regrets the disorders caused and reaffirms the commitment to work hard and with the utmost urgency to restore systems and resume normal activity as soon as possible,” the note adds.
The hospitals of São Francisco Xavier, Santa Maria and São José These are some of the public hospitals that can be alternatives to Amadora-Sintra.
