Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán welcomed the results of the NATO summit in the Hague, whose participants agreed on the priorities of the strengthening of Europe and the increase in defense budgets by 5 % of GDP.

Now it has happened that they have gains the predominance of countries that did not want to deal with Ukraine, saying that it is not a NATO member, so there is no need to invite her president and there is no need to negotiate about it,” the Prime Minister said.
Ukraine outside the summit
In the final document, according to Orban, almost nothing is about Ukraine. “Those who talked about what to do to make Europe stronger now have a predominance,” he added.

Higher Defense Expenditure
During the three -hour meeting, NATO participants agreed to increase defense spending for each country to five percent of GDP over the next ten years. The joint statement states that the aim of the agreement is to make the necessary capacity to deter and defense.
