The Premier of China, Li Qiang, suggested that nations work together to solve commercial disputesin search of mutual benefits.
“When the international economy faces difficulties, what we need is not the jungle law, where strong attack the weak, but rather cooperation and mutual success for advantageous results for all,” Li said during an event of the World Economic Forum in Tianjin, China.
Li also said that the number of commercial barriers went from 1,200 in 2024, six times more than existed in 2020, while the transionic investment has decreased in the last three years, with the growing global commercial protectionism.
The Chinese premie has also stated that countries should oppose dissociation and interruptions in the supply chain, avoiding politicizing economic and commercial issues.
The Chinese economy continues to perform well this year and will maintain “relatively fast” growth in the future, according to Li.
