Digital entrepreneurs and influencers are targets of police operation (RN)

Fifty -three search and seizure warrants were fulfilled against entrepreneurs, accountants, digital influencers. They were the main targets of AMICIS OPERATIONtriggered by the Rio Grande do Norte Civil Police in the early hours of Wednesday (25).

The investigation points out that those involved formed a criminal association specializing in structured fraud against financial institutions, criminal association and money laundering. The court determined the blockade and kidnapping of values ​​that exceed R $ 150 million.

The operation is coordinated by the Specialized Police Station in the Investigation of Crimes Against the Tax Order (Deicot). The action mobilized about 200 civil police officers, as well as teams from the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco), the Rio Grande do Norte Public Prosecution Service, the Military Police, the Treasury Secretariat and the Technology Laboratory Against Money Laundering (Lab-LD).

The court determined 204 precautionary measures. Five investigated will wear electronic anklet. The operation took place in 7 municipalities of Rio Grande do Norte: Natal, Parnamirim, São Gonçalo do Amarante, Macaíba, Sao Jose de Mipibu, Bom Jesus and Extremoz.

According to the investigations, The suspects kept a structured business network with the use of “oranges”to disguise the illicit origin of resources and shield the real beneficiaries of the transactions.

The materials seized during the execution of the warrants will be analyzed to bring more details about the participation of those involved. The Rio Grande do Norte Civil Police did not disclose further details about the crime’s performance.
