The President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, said on Wednesday, 25, that the press needs a “wretched headline” and that what matters are “excuse interests”. Lula also said that the ministers decide only what they lead to him, who makes decisions in the executive.
“In my government, minister does not decide what he does, Minister decides what he will present to me. Who decides whether or not it is me, listening to many other people,” said the president.
Lula’s statement occurs on the day the House of Representatives should vote on the Legislative Decree (PDL) bill that overturns the increase in the Financial Operations Tax (IOF), which was announced by Finance Minister Fernando Haddad, and was the subject of the executive and attacks by opposition.

Throughout the speech on Wednesday, Lula positively evaluated Haddad’s work in front of the farm.
This Wednesday, Lula attended the event “Fuel of the Future arrived: E30 and B15”, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Mines and Energy. At the event, the government announced the elevation of the mandatory percentage of ethanol mixing in gasoline and biodiesel in diesel.
The mixture of anhydrous ethanol in type C gasoline will go from current 27% to 30% (E30), while the minimum compulsory percentage of diesel oil will rise from 14% to 15% (B15).
