Dutch police announced today that it is suspected that a criminal activity was the cause of the fire that interrupted the rail traffic in the Netherlands, where its summit in The Hague began.
A fire broke out early today near the railway lines in Amsterdam, causing damage to electricity cables, the Prorail railway operator said.
The routes between Amsterdam and nearby Schiphol Airport and between this airport and the central city of Utrecht were canceled to a younger.
“Police are considering having a criminal activity being committed and further investigating the incident. We are looking for possible witnesses, “a police spokesman told Reuters.
