Are you fed up with grill classics? This time prepare something else – bacon in an extremely aromatic marinade.
The sausage has been reigning on Polish grills for years. Nobody is surprised, because it is extremely simple to prepare and aromatic, and each bite recalls memories of family meetings and warm holiday evenings. It does not really require complicated additives – it is delicious even served only with bread and ketchup.
It is worth noting, however, that the grill is not only sausage – there are really many options to choose from and we use them more and more often. Some suggestions are definitely from the category of those less obvious, at least a dozen or several dozen years ago. On the Polish grill we will more and more often see, among others Fish, various types of cheese (e.g. Camembert or Halloumi), seasoned with juicy vegetables.
My favorite alternative to sausage is marinated bacon. This proposal is extremely aromatic, the meat crunchy outside and soft inside.

Ingredients:
- bacon,
- oil,
- garlic,
- honey,
- ketchup,
- smoked pepper,
- sweet pepper,
- marjoram,
- sun,
- pepper.
Cut the meat into thin pieces.
Prepare the marinade. Pour about 70 ml of oil into a bowl, 3 teeth squeezed by the Prague garlic, 20 ml honey, 40 g ketchup. Pour a pinch of sweet peppers, smoked peppers, marjoram. Season with salt and pepper, mix the marinade.
Rub the meat with marinade, put in the fridge for 3 hours.
Grill evenly on both sides.
