Just over 1 year ago, Stellar Blade (temporarily) exclusively on PlayStation 5 bringing amazing graphics and frantic action. No wonder the PC class kept an eye on the game of Korean developer Shift Up, whose ports finally arrived last June 11. And it was a great success: in just 3 days he sold over 1 million copies on Steam and hit the simultaneous peak last week. For comparison, Stellar Blade exceeded the PC versions of The Last of Us Remastered and God of War Ragnarok.

For those who have not played yet and will take the PC version, here is a brief summary of the story: in a post-apocalyptic future, humanity is on the verge of extinction due to the invasion of alien creatures known as Naytiba. Eve, an enhanced guerrreira, is sent to Earth to eliminate these threats but is almost eliminated with his unit. She is rescued by Adam, a surviving human who leads her to Xion, the last remaining city. From then on is a lot of combat and sensuality there Bayonetta and Nier.

The news from Port de Stellar Blade

The port has arrived with additional content: a new boss challenge with Mann, digital artbook, a lot of cosmetics (25 clothes and 9 accessories for Eve), lip-sync in all the languages offered (added Chinese and Japanese) and also included three unpublished songs for the camp. From corrections, the latest patch (1.1.2) has corrected a fucking things, including bugs in photography mode and synchronization of PC achievements with PlayStation trophies via PSN.

In terms of performance, the game has been extremely well optimized since release – although it requires a decent PC to run. The port received better textures, support for DualSense control, support for ultrawide monitors, additional mapping with keyboard and mouse, resolution scaling (via Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR3) and frame generation. And there are mods, of course. The community has already created dozens of skins for Eve, including nudity and other crazy crazy.

Making a brief technical comparison, while the PS5 version runs the game up to 4K dynamic with variable frame rates, Stellar Blade runs at higher native resolutions on the PC. Does your video card have DLSS or FSR technology? Perfect then, so it is easy to run in the 60 fps for more, even if you abuse the graphic setup. It just has no ray tracing, unfortunately.

Eye -eye

I rode Stellar Blade at 1440p on a Super GeForce RTX 4070 and, without activated DLSs, got an excellent average of 120 fps. Already with DLSS in Quality Mode, I got an extra 10 FPS gain, nothing very significant – perhaps because I have left everything at most of the graphics options. At Steam Deck, Stellar Blade received the seal approved in compatibility, but the existing preset leaves to be desired by delivering a very blurred look. But if you apply the game, the game gets clearer and can maintain the 40 fps.

And so another game enters Sony’s Ports Library. Fortunately, Stellar Blade arrived round to the PC, as it had to be by default. Graphic enhancements, DLSS/FSR support and frame generation make this version the best way to experience the game as long as you have hardware that can take advantage of these features.

Pros:

🔺 Very more beautiful than in PS5, with exemplary optimization
🔺DLSS/FSR and Unlimited FPS
🔺 Additional Contest Welcome

Contras:

🔻Sofre to run in older gpus
