It was supposed to be a question among many, but it turned out to be a brief conversation in the midst of NATO
It is a separate moment at the US President’s press conference. In the midst of all the arms that frantically rose to capture Donald Trump’s gaze, the man who has fired everywhere showed that he even has a soft heart when it takes.
A BBC Ukrainian journalist who was among Nato reporters panel asked Donald Trump about the eventual sending of Patriot Defensive Systems to Ukraine.
The president of the United States asked him if he was a Ukrainian, which she said yes, clarifying that her husband is one of the thousands of soldiers who are in the front line to fight Russia.
“This is hard,” said Donald Trump, who described the journalist as “wonderful.”
“So let me tell you, they really want to have anti-Missile missiles,” he began to answer, then to say that this kind of systems “are very difficult to manufacture.”
Still in the same question, Donald Trump recalled that the same Patriot is also needed for Israel.
“Let’s see if it will be possible,” he said, leaving in the air that the United States can again help Ukraine with one of the weapons that have had the most in war.
“I wish you all the way. I mean, you can see that you are disturbing you. So, say hello to your husband, okay?” He concluded.
