The United States announced on Tuesday the reopening of its embassy in Jerusalem after having closed it last Wednesday in the context of the crossing of attacks between Israel and Iran since June 13, which has ended with a high fire.
“Due to the high fire between Israel and Iran, the command of the inner front has raised all restrictions, and the United States embassy will be open as usual on Wednesday, June 25,” explained the US legation in a publication on its website.
Consular services will begin in Jerusalem on Wednesday, while visa operations will resume in this city and in Tel Aviv next Monday, June 30.
They raise refuge orders for government employees and their family
In addition, the Embassy has raised the orders of mandatory refuge for the employees of the United States and their relatives, although the trips outside the metropolitan areas of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Beersaba, as well as the journeys between them and towards the Ben Gurion and Jordan airport – until new notice, are still restricted.
Despite the truce, American diplomacy in Israel has recommended to its citizens that they want to leave the country to choose the first available destination they find. On the other hand, the State Department has reported that a limited number of assisted flights continues to operate for those who want to leave Israeli territory.
