The capital, Rio Branco, is featured in the management of cultural funds. The municipality used 100% of the amount received, R $ 3.24 million, in addition to applying R $ 278 thousand of income in projects and cultural actions.
In detailing the use of resources in the state, more than R $ 9.5 million was directed to the direct promotion of cultural activities. Other transfers included R $ 2.8 million for works and acquisition of cultural goods, R $ 1.68 million for culture points, R $ 1.4 million for maintenance of cultural spaces, as well as values intended for operating costs and culture pontoons.
With the adherence to the new cycle, Acre’s cultural managers will have the chance to expand their actions through public notices, public calls and direct investments in works, spaces and projects that move the local culture. Municipalities with values equal to or over R $ 360 thousand should apply at least 25% of resources in the National Policy of Living Culture, strengthening community initiatives and the recognition of local cultural agents.
