Parintins Festival: As a title is defined between Caprichoso and Guaranteed

The oxen dispute Whimsical e Guaranteed by the title of the festival will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of this month, in the Bumper in Parintins, inside the Amazonas.

The city expects to receive about 150 thousand tourists in the festival week. The event has been popularizing in recent years, always with sold out tickets and capacity of Magic Island.

This year, the Caprichoso, with 26 titles, seeks the unprecedented four -time championship (was champion in 2022, 2023 and 2024). Already the guaranteed, with 32 achievements, tries to be champion again. His last victory was in 2019.

In the arena, the bumbás perform during the Three nights of the event. The order of presentations will be defined by draw on Saturday prior to the festival. Each ox has 2 and a half hours of presentation to tell the defined story for that day. The stories presented are part of.

This year, the capricious comes with the theme “It is time to retake”.People’s Boi, Povão Boi”.

Calculation

The calculation of the notes is always held on Monday after the festival. In 2024, the date is June 30th. The jurors chosen to evaluate the oxen observe 21 items that make up the oxen.

The notes range from 0 to 10, and can be given in decimal places (9.9, 9.8, 9.7 …). Win the ox that has the most points in the sum of the results of the three nights of the festival.
