The European Commission, the European Fraud and the European Prosecutor’s Office has already received information on 330 possible misuse of the Eurofunds in Slovakia. On Thursday, MEP Tomáš Zdechovský, who led the control mission of the European Parliament Committee on Budgetary Control a few days ago, stated this on the social network. The mission has not found any irregularity in only three districts of Slovakia.
“The results are shocking. Of the 79 Slovak districts, we found suspicions in 76 of them,” stated Zdechovský. Members of the European Parliament had more than 2000, but the materials were only secured in the above -mentioned 330 cases.
The highest number of errors was found by the EU mission in western Slovakia, but also around Žilina or Prešov and Košice. “We will continue to work on other cases,” added Zdechovský.
