In addition, the care of Sansewieria is really easy, so it is not surprising that it has gained such popularity. Of course, in addition to ensuring its appropriate position and hydration, you should not skip, which is crucial for the growth of the potted plant.
It is worth using the infusion, which we often have after dinner. Contrary to appearances, it is rich in valuable for Sansewieria nutrients that will stimulate her to grow. Pour the infusion into the pot of your Sansewieria, and you will quickly see how it reflects and grows like crazy.
Homemade fertilizer to Sansewieria. How to make and use it?
One of the best is the water remained after cooking vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots and broccoli. Of course, we use only non -agitated water to water Sansewieria so as not to harm our plant. Water after cooking vegetables is rich in potassium, phosphorus and microelements that strengthen the roots and improve the overall condition of Sansewieria. Therefore, cooled it into the pot of your plant (only the right amount so as not to pour it). Use such a homemade fertilizer to Sansewieria once every 2-3 weeks, and you will quickly notice that your plant releases new shoots and grows great.
Coil care. What does Sansewieria like?
As I mentioned, it is not complicated. It grows best in the ground for cacti and succulents. The humus soil, sand, perlite and gravel will dry faster and prevent root rot. Sansewieria likes a position with a distributed light, then it dies beautifully. However, he also does well in shady places. For the plant to grow straight, it must not be poured. We water it with a small amount of water, maximally once a week, when the soil is completely dry.
How to save the miserable Sansewieria?
When you see that yours and its leaves have lost a beautiful, intense color, you have to overdo the sick plant to the new soil as soon as possible. First, pull it out of the pot and with the help of a painting brush gently, but thoroughly clean all the roots of the soil. The roots that get sick, cut with a sharp knife. Pour the remaining roots with hydrogen peroxide. Put the permeable ground on the bottom of the new pot, put in the coils and backfill with the addition of a bit of cinnamon that has fungicidal and bactericidal. For the future, it is worth remembering that we water the coils on average every 2 and even every 4 weeks.
