Tenth-day transmission ban for opposition TV channels in Turkey

Istanbul – In Turkey, a ten -day broadcaster was imposed against an opposition television station. The Turkish media supervisory authority RTUK said on Thursday that the television station Halk TV had violated regulations. The authority accused the broadcaster “Incase to Hate” and justified the ban on broadcasting in particular with the testimony of a guest on the broadcaster. The latter had said that Turkey was “not more religious, but a sectarian”.
