If you are a devoted collector, you certainly know that Some of their species are much rarer and more valuable than others. However, the more difficult to get to get are also tastier and more valuable than ordinary mushrooms, or boletus.
This is how it is with the most expensive fungus in the world, which is worth thousands of dollars per kilo. It also grows in Poland and although unfortunately it cannot be legally sold in our country, every mushroom picker dreams of finding it.
The most expensive mushroom in the world is Matsutake, a geese of Sosnowa, which at first can be mistaken for a young boletus or dust. So you have to strain your eyes to recognize it.
In the forest you will recognize the pine A bare, smooth to the touch of a brown hat, quite thick and conical in young specimens (its edges are wrapped towards the core).
The shaft of the mushroom is quite elastic, its leg narrows subtly up and does not stand out particularly in color. From the bottom of the individual, you can see small light yellow plates, which are cut out of Zatokowo quite densely, free of shaft.
The pineose is found in some US states and several Asian countries, i.e. Korea, China or Japan. In Poland, it occurs in coniferous and mixed forests, although until 2021 it was considered an extinct species. Unexpectedly, however, a fungus was found in Gdańsk and the Lesser Poland commune of Zawoja.
