The two serious injured women die after the explosion in a bar in a town of Mar Menor | Spain

The two women who were in a very serious state in the town of Lo Pagán, in the environment of Mar Menor, have died this Thursday, according to El País sources from the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital in Murcia, where they were admitted since then.

One of the deceased is a 38 -year -old woman who suffered very serious burns. He was the only person who was inside the bar where deflagration occurred, who at that time, around noon, was closed to the public. The other 56 -year -old deadly victim suffered a head trauma.

The bar in which the incident occurred is located on the same street where at the time of the event the weekly market of the town, a district of the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, was being held on the banks of Mar Menor, of some 3,700 inhabitants. The two women remained admitted to the burning unit and the hospital ICU respectively from the moment of the event, and both have died this Thursday.

The explosion caused another 15 injured (one serious, three of less gravity and minor eleven), which were transferred to other hospitals and health centers in the area and that evolve favorably.

In addition, the outbreak caused important damage to the bar, although the building where it was located did not suffer structural damage. The causes of this event continue to investigate, although some local media suggest that within the establishment a butane bottle that had the cut rubber was located.
