Twelve-based rock penguin youngsters in the Schönbrunn Tiergarten

Vienna – In the Schönbrunn Tiergarten there is a lot of offspring among the highly endangered northern rock penguins: twelve chicks hatched in April. In the first two weeks of life, they were cared for by their parents, then they came into the care of the zoo team and were initially weighed and fed three times a day, it said on Thursday in a broadcast of the zoo.
