Abbas Arakzi’s Foreign Minister described as “significant” the damage caused to his country by the 12 -day war with Israel, clarifying that Tehran began to assess the consequences of the conflict.

The International Atomic Energy Organization (IOEA) asked him to be given access to these sites in order to proceed with his own assessment of damage, but Arakzi said the government was committed to the law approved by parliament, which interrupts the cooperation with this UN service.

“There is no doubt about the implementation of this law” and “from now on our relationship and cooperation with the organization will take on a different form,” the head of Iranian diplomacy said in an interview on state television.

“Experts of the Atomic Energy Organization (Iran’s) are currently proceeding with a detailed assessment of damage,” he said. “The damage is significant,” he continued. According to Arachi, the Iranian government is discussing the possibility of seeking compensation.

Donald Trump president has repeatedly stated that US blows have completely destroyed Iran’s most important nuclear facilities. He also announced that “next week” talks with Tehran will begin again on its nuclear program, but Arakzi said there was no “plan” for the repetition of negotiations.
