The Parintins 2025 Festival starts today in Parintins, in the interior of the Amazon. The dispute between the capricious and guaranteed oxen will extend for three nights at the Bumbódromo Arena. The presentations will also take place on Saturday (28) and Sunday (29). The counting of the votes to meet the champion takes place on Monday (30).
This year, the Caprichoso, the current three -time champion, seeks the quarter of the unprecedented championship in his history, while the guaranteed tries to win again the title he has not seen since 2019.

The blue and white ox brings the theme “It’s Time of Resumption”, a manifesto of popular culture through life across the planet. “It’s a call for resuming old and curative practices for life and the continuity of humanity,” said the president of the Caprichoso ox advice, Ericky Nakanome.

The red and white ox brings its traditional slogan, created in 1980, to Arena. With the theme “People’s Boi, Boi do Povão”, the association promises a vibrant, exciting and innovative show to show its tradition and connection with its fans.

With the theme “It’s Time of Resumption”, Bumbá Blue and White brings in its repertoire 23 toaded for its presentation at the Parintins Festival. The works were chosen during a long process, from a notice released last year.
The official album will be released on April 19, at Curral Zeca Xibelão, Capa Caprichoso House in Parintins.

How is the dispute and what are the items
The confrontation between the capricious and guaranteed oxen happens inside the Arena do Bumbódromo for three nights. The oxen have a minimum time of two hours, and a maximum of two hours and 30 minutes per presentation each night.
All items are divided into three blocks – A, B and C, according to the show regulation.
The blocks are tried by a group of three jurors per sector, specialized in terms of the block.
