A (International Football Federation) holds this Friday (27.jun.2025) the payment of the balance regarding the participation and sports performance to clubs .
, , e Brazilian representatives in the competition, accumulated significant values with their campaigns in the group stage.
The financial transfer follows a schedule established by the entity and communicated to the clubs before the tournament began. The values correspond to the results obtained in the 1st stage and the phase advance in the competition.
FIFA has scheduled 4 dates for payments to participants:
- May 29, 2025: referring to the participation pillar, fewer advances made earlier;
- June 27, 2025: Payment of the balance regarding the pillar of participation to all participating clubs, and the pillar of sports performance to clubs eliminated in the group stage. FIFA reserves the right to retain a proportional amount to cover any additional costs related to the virtual portfolio;
- August 15, 2025: Final payment of any remaining balances to clubs eliminated in the group stage; and
- September 30, 2025: Final payment of possible balances pending to all participating clubs.
Awards of Brazilians so far
Flamengo leads among Brazilians in accumulated awards, with US $ 27.7 million (R $ 152.0 million) – dollar quoted at R $ 5.49.
The Rio club ended the group stage with 2 wins and 1 draw, and guaranteed US $ 5.0 million (R $ 27.4 million) for performance.
Added to this amount US $ 15.2 million (R $ 83.4 million) for the participation and US $ 7.5 million (R $ 41.1 million) for the round of 16.
Fluminense reached US $ 26.7 million (R $ 146.6 million) in awards.
Tricolor Carioca guaranteed US $ 15.2 million (R $ 83.4 million) for participation in the group stage.
The club won US $ 2.0 million (R $ 10.9 million) for the victory over Ulsan and another US $ 2.0 million (R $ 10.98 million) for draws with Borussia and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The rating for the round of 16 yielded another US $ 7.5 million (R $ 41.1 million).
Palmeiras equaled the amount of Fluminense and accumulated US $ 26.7 million (R $ 146.6 million).
The São Paulo club won a victory over Al Ahly – $ 2.0 million ($ 10.9 million) and 2 draws against Inter Miami and Porto – US $ 1.0 million ($ 5.4 million) each.
These values add up to US $ 15.2 million (R $ 83.4 million) for the participation and US $ 7.5 million (R $ 41.1 million) for the ranking to the 16.
Botafogo also reached US $ 26.7 million (R $ 146.6 million) in awards, with 2 wins and 1 loss in the group stage, in addition to the classification for the next phase of the competition.
According to the prize table established by FIFA, each group stage victory is equivalent to US $ 2.0 million (R $ 10.9 million), while each draw yields US $ 1.0 million (R $ 5.5 million).
The classification for the round of 16 ensures an additional $ 7.5 million (R $ 41.1 million).
