“It is essential to seek balance between different areas throughout life. Although the career plays a relevant role in a work -oriented society, we always guide our customers to find ways to balance demands,” says Lucia Costa, Soul Hr Consulting partner, survey coordinator and career transition expert.

The breach of priorities between men and women changes from the age of 50, when the first group keeps the family as a priority (49%), while executives elect health (52.4%).

“Culturally, women were encouraged to assume a more active role in the home, which may explain why they tend to regret more when they prioritize work. Unfortunately, this still reflects a society marked by gender divisions,” concludes Costa.
