Senator (-SP) says he is willing to enter the dispute to the São Paulo government next year, if Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) competes for the presidency.
“I’m here for that. I’m not giving elbow, but if they invite me I accept this mission,” he said to the panel on Thursday night (26), before receiving a tribute in the City Hall of São Caetano do Sul, Greater Sao Paulo. He was awarded the title of “Citizen SulSancaetanense”.
Pontes recalled that he had more votes in 2022 than Tarcisio himself in the first round – 10.7 million for the senator, against 9.8 million for the current governor.
He recalled that in 2022 he was preparing to dispute the House of Representatives when he was invited by the PL to try the Senate, after
