The (Federal Court of Audit) determined the opening of an audit to investigate irregularities in the selective processes of AGSUS (Brazilian Agency for Support for SUS Management), linked to.
The Court has accepted a representation of the Senator (-DF), in which it claims that there is “illicit favoritism in selection processes, directing vacancies to friends and relatives of managers of the Ministry of Health, facts that contradict the official transparency speech.”
The senator states, in the document, that notices for vacancies in AGSUS are little disclosed, with short deadlines for registration and generic information about the work itself, including remuneration, and that this has favored employees already linked to the Ministry of Health or relatives of the organizers.
The case was reported by Minister Bruno Dantas, who said he found “that the restricted disclosure of selection processes and the short deadlines for registration limited the competition and facilitated the direction in the selection of candidates by AGSUS.” The other TCU ministers unanimously voted with the rapporteur.
AGSUS operates to grant operational support to the Ministry of Health in the areas of indigenous care and primary health care. The agency also takes care of contracts focused on medium and high complexity, ie to enable care, examinations and surgeries done in clinics and hospitals.
