The (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) released the data this Friday (27.jun.2025). Statistics are part of the continuous PNAD (National Continuous Household Sample Survey), published monthly.

The rate measures the proportion of unemployed people among the workforce of Brazil. That is, how much of the population that can get a job is not working.
The index is indicative of acceleration or deceleration of the economy, if there is a retreat in vacancy.
