The Public Prosecution Service with the Federal Court of Auditors requested an investigation about the Federal Deputy (-SP).
Deputy Attorney General Lucas Furtado asks for “necessary measures to confirm the hiring of makeup artists” and that, if there is ratification, there is a special accountability to return resources spending on salaries and other expenses of these advisers.
“Occurrences such as the accused compromise confidence in public authorities and project about the institutions the shadow of archaic practices, such as heritage, nepotism, sponsorship and personal favoritism,” wrote the deputy Attorney General in the representation sent to TCU on Thursday (26).
Furtado states that the case demoralizes the public administration and that hiring may have had a deviation of purpose, as well as “excessive personality”. According to him, the selection would have followed the deputy’s personal interests, detached from the parliamentary activity.
“Expenses with salaries and trips of these advisors, if confirmed suspicions of misappropriation of purpose and violation of the principle of impersonality, must be considered improper and illegitimate, subject to refund to the purse, even if covered with apparent formal legality,” he wrote.
Deputies have the right to hire people of their trust to work on their offices, with salaries played by the House. Among those hired by makeup artists Ronaldo Hass and Indy Montiel.
The case was first reported by the Metrópoles website last week. Erika Hilton admitted that she met both of them as makeup artists, but said they today perform activities related to their mandate. Both Hass and Montiel have social networking posts promoting their work as makeup artists using the deputy as a model.
“I met them as makeup artists, I identified other talents and called them to work with me. When they can, they do my makeup and I credit them for that. But if they did not, they would remain my parliamentary secretaries,” said Erika Hilton on her social network profile.
Following the disclosure of hiring, the parliamentarian was the subject of criticism of political opponents. The deputy said, on social network, that there is a persecution against her, which was, in 2022, the first transgender elected to Congress, along with Duda Salabert (-MG).
Hass was hired as parliamentary secretary in November 2024 and had two positions of office inside the cabinet. Its current post has compensation of R $ 9,700, according to the transparency system of the
Montiel’s first appointment was in December. Earlier this month, there was a relocation to the current position. In May, the remuneration was about R $ 2,100. The data were also extracted from the camera system.
The most recent record of makeup work with the deputy released by Hass on Instagram is February 22. He went to a rehearsal of the Rio de Janeiro samba school of Tuiuti. The profile identifies you as someone in the beauty industry.
Hass was also scheduled, among other professionals and a clothing brand, in a photo of Erika in Paris released on Instagram by stylist Bruno Pimentel. She was the singer’s show in the city this month.
In Montiel’s case, the latest record is May 27th. The deputy was made up to receive the Order of Rio Branco, the highest honor granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Montiel’s profile on Instagram identifies him as a beauty artist, fashion enthusiast and parliamentary advisor, among other activities.
Deputy Attorney Lucas Furtado wrote in the representation that the fact that Hass and Montiel were hired because of the qualification as makeup artists and exercised this activity for the benefit of the deputy shows “the deviation of purpose.”
“This circumstance shows the deviation of purpose in hiring, causing not only the nullity of functional bonds, but also of the respective expenses, characterizing damage to the treasury and demanding the action of the Federal Court of Auditors to adopt the appropriate measures to repair the loss,” says the representation of Furtado.
