Collision between car and motorcycle leaves injured motorcyclist and with amputated finger in Rio Branco

A traffic accident registered on Friday night (27) left Edison Vieira Machado, 26, injured and with an amputated left foot. The collision between a motorcycle and a car occurred on the Manuca branch, located on Jarbas Passarinho road, in Rio Branco.

According to information, Edison had drunk alcohol and was driving along the branch on his motorcycle when he collided with a car. The impact of the crash caused the amputation of one fingers of the victim’s foot and caused multiple abrasions on the body.

Even wounded, Edison managed to move to his residence and request help. A team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and, after the first calls at the site, sent the young man to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. He entered the unit in a stable health.

The Military Police, through traffic policing, was not called to meet the occurrence.
