Gira is one of the oldest drinks of Slavic origin, which has been a history of centuries. It is made by natural fermentation from raw material, usually using rye, wheat or barley bread. This traditional drink not only has a refreshing taste, but also provides certain benefits to the body. However, how many grove can be used per day and what are the properties of this old recipe?
Grove and its effects on the body
The value of the kvass lies in the natural composition and the lively microflora formed during fermentation. This drink is saturated with lactic acid bacteria and yeast that supports a useful intestinal microbiota. In addition, the grove naturally contains carbohydrates, proteins, organic acids (especially milk and vinegar), a small amount of ethanol (up to 1 %), as well as vitamins and minerals.
It is important to note that homemade grove is much more nutritious than industrially produced, with almost twice as much fiber and about three times less sugar. Therefore, for a healthier alternative, it is worth choosing a home -made kvass.
How much kvass can you take per day?
For adults without health problems, it is recommended to drink 1 to 2 glasses of kvass per day (about 250-500 ml). This dose is safe and even beneficial – it is rich in B vitamins, probiotics and natural acids that improve digestion.
Children are advised not to exceed one glass of kvass per day. Although the amount of alcohol is minimal, the fermentation process is more sensitive to this drink. Pregnant women and people with chronic illnesses should consult a doctor before taking the grove.
When to limit the consumption of the kvass?
Gira is a health -friendly drink, but it all depends on the amount. Excessive consumption can cause bloating, feeling of severity or other indigestion. In addition, it should be noted whether the drink has been pasteurized and that there are no added preservatives, especially if you are choosing an industrial product.
