The lady from the laundry betrayed the patent for ironing the shirt without an iron
The lady from the laundry revealed a way to wash cotton shirts, thanks to which they will have much less creases. The mixture will make ironing the shirt fast and really simple, and it will remain fresh for many days. It is about starch, i.e. a solution of water with potato starch, which for decades has been used to stiffen shirts, underwear, but also tablecloths and bedding. The starch prevents sweat and dirt in the fabric. The stingful shirt is preserved – dust or moisture does not penetrate it, which in turn prevents bacteria from multiplying and allows it for longer use. It has been known for years that Krochmal stiffens the fabric, thanks to which there is definitely less creases and much easier is ironed. This is also the case with shirts. Just after rubbing the shirt in the washing machine, soak them in a delicate pattern solution and dry. The fabric will be perfectly smooth. Alternatively, if necessary, it can still be ironed with an iron. You will immediately notice that the creases disappear much faster.

Krochmal is a great way that. This solution of water and potato starch is really easy to prepare. In a glass, mix about 120 ml of water and 1 tablespoon of potato starch. In a pot, bring about 0.5 liters of water to a boil and pour the mixture from a glass. Mix thoroughly and set aside from the oven. Starch prepared in this way thoroughly with lukewarm water in a bowl in which you will soak the shirt.
How to iron a shirt? Keep the order
It is very important to keep the right order:
- Take the underwire from the collar and discourage all buttons.
- Spread the collar on the edge of the board and iron it from both sides, directing the iron from the edges to the inside.
- Impress the outer parts of the shoulder shirt, and finally its center.
- Iron cuffs from the inside.
- Place the sleeve along the seam and browse the iron in the direction from the elbow to the cuffs and from the elbow to the shoulder. Repeat the same action on the other side of the sleeve.
- Stretch the shirt to the wider part of the board and iron the left front and then the right one. Finally, iron your back. With the tip of the iron, you can easily smooth the uneven surface of the material and all overlays.
