The “thieves” grandparents
In October 2016, eight men kidnapped Kim Kardashian in a hotel room in Paris and stole jewelry of a total of 10 million euros. Almost 10 years later, on May 23 this year, eight of the 10 defendants were convicted.
Didier Dubreucq has always denied any involvement. “They caught the wrong person,” he said in court, where he also admitted the past linked to the crime.
The kidnappers were known to the “thieves” grandparents, given that most had ages between 60 and 71, with the exception of a 35 -year -old person.
Although they were convicted, the eight men did not return to prison after the trial. According to the French press, health and age made it “ethically” impossible to arrest them.
