The Goiás Civil Police arrested a man, this Friday (27), suspected of maintaining anabolic deposits, without registration with the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), for commercialization. The arrest took place in Porangatu, northern state.

The investigation began after police received – informally – information that a suspect was involved in clandestine anabolic resale. Thus, the authorities began to monitor the individual to verify that the product was for their own consumption or if there was a distribution scheme.

During the findings, the police talked to sources, including regulars of local establishments, who reported conduct that are compatible with the disguised trade. According to the reports, the investigated left objects at specific points for other people to collect without direct contact.

On Friday, the team noticed a suspicious movement near the city’s gym. When approached by the police, the man admitted – spontaneously – that he maintained anabolic substances stored elsewhere.

The team located several labeled vials such as anabolic, syringes and needles. After the expert examinations, it was found that the substances are not registered with Anvisa.
