The campaign motto is “BBB taxation: billionaires, banks and bets”.
The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, was the first of the opposition to speak out about the campaign. According to columnist Lauro Jardim, from O Globo, he would have said about it: “It’s the BBB: another blah, blah, blah of the Lula administration, always lying to you.”

The governor also fired: “The Lula administration now says that the scale is fair: it is taxing the rich, but the truth is that on the one hand is Lula, Haddad and Janja; and on the other the people being crushed with millionaire janja trips, INSS, IOF.”
